Daniel is CEO and Managing Partner at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, from 2011 to 2021, Daniel was a Managing Partner at Farallon. Prior to joining, Daniel served as the President of Morgan Stanley in Brazil. Prior to that, he
headed Brazil’s antitrust and consumer protection agency as Brazil’s Secretary of Economic Law in the Ministry of Justice.

Daniel received a law degree and a doctorate degree from University of São Paulo. In addition, he received a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School.

Guilherme is a partner at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, Guilherme was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was head of Latin America for the Global Capital Solutions team, which leverages GS’ balance sheet to provide alternative and special situations financings to clients. Guilherme originally joined Goldman Sachs in New York as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division.

Guilherme earned an M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University in 2013 and B.S. in Engineering Physics and Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2011.

Ana Paula is currently an investment professional at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, from 2021 to 2022, she was an equity investment analyst at Aster Capital covering the financial sector. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, Ana was an investment professional and partner at HIX Capital, where she was responsible for screening sectors, analyzing companies’ business models and financial performance for publicly traded companies.

Ana Paula received her bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA). Ana is a medalist in Chemistry and Physics competitions.

Marco is currently an investment professional at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, from 2021 to 2023, Marco was a principal at eB Capital, where he acted as Head of Infrastructure, leading deals in the energy and gas sectors. Between 2015 and 2021, Marco was an investment professional at Patria, focused on Infrastructure investments.

Marco received his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

Lucas is currently an investment professional at Lumina Capital Management.

From 2020 to 2022, Lucas was an analyst at LTS Investments, where he made investments in growth equity and public equities in Brazil and the US, and acted in the strategic monitoring of the companies controlled by the group (AB InBev, Kraft Heinz). Lucas started his career in 2020, analyzing companies in the financial sector in the equity research team at Bank of America.

Lucas received his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).

Lucas is an investment analyst at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, Lucas was based in New York City. From 2022 to 2024, he was an Investment Associate at Blackstone Energy Partners, where he focused on private equity transactions in energy and infrastructure. Prior to that, Lucas was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he worked on financial advisory transactions across the Industrials sector. Lucas began his career at Marathon Capital, a Chicago-based advisory boutique focused on renewable energy financing.

Lucas received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.

In 2023, Daniel was a Summer Intern in Bradesco BBI’s Equity Research division, covering the retail sector.

Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EESP).

João is an investment intern at Lumina Capital Management.

He started his career in 2022, analyzing oil & gas companies as part of the investment team at Constellation Asset Management.

He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Insper.

Weber is an investment intern at Lumina Capital Management.

He started his career in Morgan Stanley’s equity research team, where he worked from 2022 to 2023, covering the oil & gas, utilities, and retail sectors.

He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in economics at Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

Edde is an Executive Assistant at Lumina Capital Management, supporting the partners and the also the team

Previously, Edde worked in large companies across the Energy, Finance, Transportation sectors, and top-tier law firms, with over 20 years of experience in administrative and executive support roles.

Edde holds a degree in Executive Secretariat and a postgraduate degree in Business Management.

João Kazmirski is operational analyst – From 2021 to 2024, João was a Middle Office analyst at BTG Pactual, where he specialized in funds distribution and non-Brazilian investors. Prior to that, João contributed to the operations division of a startup focused on loyalty programs. João obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM).

Julia is an Executive Assistant at Lumina Capital Management, primarily supporting the administrative and facilities functions.

Previously, she held executive assistant roles at multinational companies, providing support to C-level executives. In addition to her EA responsibilities, Julia has gained experience in Office Management, Human Resources, Facilities, and Finance.

Julia earned her bachelor’s degree in Trilingual Executive Secretariat from FECAP (Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado) in 2021.

Gustavo is financial analyst at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, in 2022, Gustavo was a trainee at VTEX, working with architecture development and problem solving for e-commerce platforms. Prior to that, Gustavo worked with product development in tech at Ambev, the Brazilian subsidiary of AB-InBev. Gustavo received his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli-USP).

Matheus Faria is financial analyst – From 2018 to 2024, Matheus was a financial analyst at BTG Pactual, where he worked in financial and managerial control of the Special Situations proprietary desk and in the bank’s Controllership and Treasury areas. Matheus graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal Center of Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET-RJ).

Daniel Galembeck (Intern) – Prior to that, he interned at Lenovo, BTG Pactual and Amadeus, working as a software developer mainly focused on AI applications. Daniel is an electrical engineer student at Unicamp and has completed a double-degree at École Centrale de Nantes

Bárbara is a legal analyst at Lumina Capital Management.

Bárbara joined the team as a legal intern in early 2022. She is expected to earn her bachelors’s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) in December 2025

Caio is currently a lawyer at Lumina Capital Management.

From 2022 to 2023, Caio was an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at BMA Advogados. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, he was an associate at Lucon Advogados. Caio’s areas of expertise include corporate law, contractual law and complex litigation and arbitration.

Caio received a law degree from University of São Paulo and is currently pursuing an MBA in economics and corporate finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, EAESP.

Carolina is a lawyer at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, from 2022 to 2024, Carolina worked in wealth and succession planning at Guimarães Bastos Advogados, a boutique law firm specialized in family and succession law.

Carolina earned her bachelor´s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and her bachelor´s degree in Public Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV)

Gabriel is currently a legal intern at Lumina Capital Management.

In 2023, Gabriel was a legal intern at More Invest Gestora de Recursos, where he participated in the process of creating and reviewing contracts. He was also involved in monitoring operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory rules and policies.

Gabriel is a law student at the University of São Paulo.

Luis is a legal intern at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, from 2021 to 2022, Luis was an intern at Monteiro e Monteiro Advogados, where he worked with Public Litigation Law.

Luis is doing his bachelor’s degree in Economics at Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (INSPER).

Sophia is currently a Legal Intern at Lumina Capital Management.

Previously, from 2023 to 2024, she was a litigation and arbitration intern at BMA Advogados. Between 2022 and 2023, she was an intern at the São Paulo Judicial Court.

Sophia is currently a bachelor’s student in Law at the University of São Paulo (USP), pursuing a double degree at Université Jean Monnet Saint-Étienne.
