Daniel is CEO and Managing Partner at Lumina Capital Management.
Previously, from 2011 to 2021, Daniel was a Managing Partner at Farallon. Prior to joining, Daniel served as the President of Morgan Stanley in Brazil. Prior to that, he
headed Brazil’s antitrust and consumer protection agency as Brazil’s Secretary of Economic Law in the Ministry of Justice.
Daniel received a law degree and a doctorate degree from University of São Paulo. In addition, he received a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School.

Marco Kheirallah

Marco is a partner at Lumina Capital Management.
Marco has been the Principal Founder and Managing Partner at SIP Capital Fund since 2010. From 2012 to 2015, Marco con served as the Chief Financial Officer at PDG Realty. Prior to this, Marco was a Partner at Banco Pactual from 2001 to 2009 and at Banco Matrix from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, he served as a Trader at Banco Opportunity from 1994 to 1996 and at Banco BCN from 1992 to 1994.
Marco received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, EAESP.

Guilherme Loures

Guilherme is a partner at Lumina Capital Management.
Previously, Guilherme was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was head of Latin America for the Global Capital Solutions team, which leverages GS’ balance sheet to provide alternative and special situations financings to clients. Guilherme originally joined Goldman Sachs in New York as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division.
Guilherme earned an M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University in 2013 and B.S. in Engineering Physics and Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2011.

Fernando is a partner at Lumina Capital Management.
Previously, from 2011 to 2021, Fernando was an investment professional at Patria Investments, where he acted more recently as Managing Director and CIO of
Patria’s core infrastructure strategies, leading equity and debt investments across various infrastructure sectors. Between 2018 and 2020, Fernando was head of
investor relations for Patria Infrastructure. From 2016 to 2017, Fernando acted as CFO of Latin America Power (LAP), a Patria portfolio company in the renewable
power sector based in Chile.
Fernando received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP).

Previously, from 2021 to 2022, she was an equity investment analyst at Aster Capital covering the financial sector. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, Ana was an investment professional and partner at HIX Capital, where she was responsible for screening sectors, analyzing companies’ business models and financial performance for publicly traded companies.
Ana Paula received her bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA). Ana is a medalist in Chemistry and Physics competitions.

Marco is currently an investment professional at Lumina Capital Management.
Previously, from 2021 to 2023, Marco was a principal at eB Capital, where he acted as Head of Infrastructure, leading deals in the energy and gas sectors. Between 2015 and 2021, Marco was an investment professional at Patria, focused on Infrastructure investments.

LUCAS CAVALCANTI

Lucas is currently an investment professional at Lumina Capital Management.
From 2020 to 2022, Lucas was an analyst at LTS Investments, where he made investments in growth equity and public equities in Brazil and the US, and acted in the strategic monitoring of the companies controlled by the group (AB InBev, Kraft Heinz). Lucas started his career in 2020, analyzing companies in the financial sector in the equity research team at Bank of America.

Previously, Lucas was based in New York City. From 2022 to 2024, he was an Investment Associate at Blackstone Energy Partners, where he focused on private equity transactions in energy and infrastructure. Prior to that, Lucas was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he worked on financial advisory transactions across the Industrials sector. Lucas began his career at Marathon Capital, a Chicago-based advisory boutique focused on renewable energy financing.

Catarina Rodrigues (COO) – Previously, she was a partner at Demarest, where she worked for almost 20 years. During that time, she also served as a representative of the taxpayers at the São Paulo Municipal Court of Taxes for 2 years, as a researcher of the Tax Studies Center of Fundação Getúlio Vargas and as a teacher at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies. She is also one of the founders of Women in Tax Brazil. Catarina Rodrigues received a law degree from Federal University of Bahia and aMaster of Laws fromthe Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo.

João Kazmirski is operational analyst – From 2021 to 2024, João was a Middle Office analyst at BTG Pactual, where he specialized in funds distribution and non-Brazilian investors. Prior to that, João contributed to the operations division of a startup focused on loyalty programs. João obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM).

Marco Lucente (CFO) – Previously, from 2020 to 2024, he served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting at GIC, overseeing the finance function for private investments in the US and Latin America. Between 2011 and 2017, Marco worked at Patria Investments and two of its portfolio companies. From 2005 to 2011, he was with PwC, where he worked in both the audit and corporate finance teams. Marco holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration fromthe University of São Paulo.

Gustavo Frozoni

Previously, in 2022, Gustavo was a trainee at VTEX, working with architecture development and problem solving for e-commerce platforms. Prior to that, Gustavo worked with product development in tech at Ambev, the Brazilian subsidiary of AB-InBev. Gustavo received his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli-USP).

Matheus Faria is financial analyst – From 2018 to 2024, Matheus was a financial analyst at BTG Pactual, where he worked in financial and managerial control of the Special Situations proprietary desk and in the bank’s Controllership and Treasury areas. Matheus graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal Center of Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET-RJ).
