Investment

Daniel Goldberg

Daniel is currently CIO and managing partner at Lumina Capital Management. Previously, from 2011 to 2021, Daniel was Managing Partner at Farallon. Prior to joining, Daniel served as the President of Morgan Stanley in Brazil. Prior to that, he headed Brazil’s antitrust and consumer protection agency as Brazil’s Secretary of Economic Law in its Ministry of Justice. Daniel received a law degree and a doctorate degree from University of São Paulo. In addition, he received a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School.

Marco Kheirallah

Marco is currently a partner at Lumina Capital Management. Marco has been the Principal Founder and Managing Partner at SIP Capital Fund since 2010. During that time, Marco also servedasthe Chief Financial Officer at PDG Realty from 2012 to 2015. Prior to this, Marco was a Partner, at Banco Pactual from 2001 to 2009 and at Banco Matrix from 1996 to 2001. Prior to this, he served as a Trader, at Banco Opportunity from 1994 to 1996 and at Banco BCN from 1992 to 1994. Marco received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas, EAESP.

Guilherme Loures

Guilherme is currently a partner at Lumina Capital Management. Previously, Guilherme was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was head of Latin America for the Global Capital Solutions team, which leverages GS’ balance sheet to provide alternative and special situations financings to clients. Guilherme originally joined Goldman Sachs in New York as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division. Guilherme earned an M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University in 2013 and B.S. in Engineering Physics and Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2011.

Henrique D'Amico

Henrique is currently a partner at Lumina Capital Management.Previously, Henrique was a partner at SPS Capital. Before, from 2017 to 2020, he was a vice president at Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group. At Goldman, Henrique led/participated in equity/credit transactions across Latin America. Prior to joining GS, Henrique worked at BTG Special Situations Group from 2015 to 2017 focusing on Corporate Turnaround, NPL and Real Estate. Henrique started his career in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division (SP) from 2012 to 2015, focusing on Structured Credit and DCM. Henrique received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas, EAESP.

Fernando Chican

Fernando is currently a partner at Lumina Capital Management. Previously, from 2011 to 2021, Fernando was an investment professional at Patria Investments, where he acted more recently as Managing Director and CIO of Patria’s core infrastructure strategies, leading equity and debt investments across various infrastructure sectors. Between 2018 and 2020, Fernando was head of investor relations for Patria Infrastructure. From 2016 to 2017 Fernando acted as CFO of Latin America Power (LAP), a Patria portfolio company in the renewable power sector based in Chile. Fernando received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP).

Inez Costa de Barros Lisboa

Inez is currently partner and COO at Lumina Capital Management. Previously, Inez was the head of operations of Mindset Ventures, where she led the operations and financial management team. Before joining Mindset Ventures, Inez was a credit associate at Mauá. Between 2018 and 2019, Inez was a credit operations analyst at Banco BTG. Inez received her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Insper and a master’s degree from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

Catarina Rodrigues

Catarina Rodrigues is currently head of tax at Lumina Capital Management. Catarina has a bachelor's degree in law from Federal University of Bahia and a master's degree in tax and regulatory law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Before joining Lumina, she was a partner at Demarest, where she worked for almost 20 years. During that time, she also served as a representative of the taxpayers at the São Paulo Municipal Court of Taxes for 2 years, as a researcher of the Tax Studies Center of Getulio Vargas Foundation and as a teacher at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies. She is also one of the founders of Women in Tax Brazil.

Renata Sardenberg

Renata Sardenberg is currently head of legal at Lumina Capital Management. Renata has a bachelor's degree in law from São Paulo State University (USP) and a master's degree in corporate law from the same university. Before joining Lumina, she worked as counsel to the chairman of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and as a restructuring and corporate lawyer at E.Munhoz Advogados.
